  Job Description

Work : Hybrid: 2 days/week in office at Newark NJ

  • Working together with the Sr. HR Consultant - EEO/AA, serve as liaison for the day-to-day subject matter expert and advisor for the company’s Affirmative Action Program, Reasonable Workplace Accommodations and EEO Compliance requirements.

Job Summary:

  • Ad Hoc Reporting: provide internal data requests for labor market data, and other ad hoc data report requests.
  • Assist Sr. Consultant with EEO compliance related initiatives (i.e., annual NJ Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA), NJ-Gender Equity training, Official Bulletin Board compliance, invitations to self-id)
  • Affirmative Action Plan (VEVRAA and Section 503) and EEO Compliance Reporting o AAP Development – work with Sr. Consultant and vendor to create required AAP reports and workplace demographic self-audit reports
  • Provide training and one-on-one consults (virtual and live) on AAP Goals as needed to Leadership and HR.
  • Action Plan Development – In conjunction with the Sr. HR Consultant – EEO/AA, develop Action Plans to address any underutilized job groups at their . o Partner with vendor to complete EEO-1 and VETS-4212 Reporting
  • Provide compliance guidance to recruiters and HR on Talent Acquisitions hiring matters.

Assist with management of the Company’s disability (ADA), pregnancy (PWFA), and religious workplace accommodation processes, including but not limited to:

  • Engaging in the interactive process
  • HIPAA compliant recordkeeping (documentation, databases)
  • Drafting correspondence to employees and healthcare providers

Core skills:

  • Strategic problem solving.
  • Daily work with SAP SuccessFactors, MS Excel (Advanced), Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Requires familiarity with Title VII, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1974, VEVRAA, FMLA, ADA, PWFA.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-3 experience in a compliance role, or equivalent experience
  • An integrated team player, with the ability to effectively communicate and work among various other groups as well as independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and demanding workload; demonstrated planning and organizing skills  
  • Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter, including keeping up to date on industry changes and developments
  • Ability to think critically and analytically to identify and implement efficiency and effectiveness improvements to key aspects of Compliance program Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Experience Level:

  • Advanced: Full knowledge of related concepts. Typically, has at least 4 years of experience performing this specific job function and requires minimal managerial oversight/direction.
